Very interesting story Brian. You have really been around and had unusual experiences. I’ve paid my dues with air miles, fancy hotels, and opulent restaurants. Most of my travel involved work and as such, almost all the time first class. When I was young it was lots of fun but I could never keep the pace today and tolerate the inconveniences. Sitting by a beautiful landscape is right with me as long as it doesn’t require planes and trains. You have found a “sweet spot” especially when you include GF Judy to spice things up a bit. Glad you did things as a young guy, kick back and remember.
